A curious little merfolk she is she followed a ship into a harbour where she was fished up by mistake by the owners unable to speak out of the water the captain of the ship took her in and adopted her as his own raising her to be a member of the crew she soon developed a skill for appraising the items the ship traded until a band of brigands boarded and cyt down the crew she tried to fight receiving a blow to the face and being rendered unconscious now awake she finds herself far from even her new home inland left on a cushion in a stone walled room unknowing of what fate will throw next
