Sunny days, rainy days, warm days, cold days. The only difference would be the weather. Born in a village in Tethyr, as the son of a smith, Galén would live a rather uneventful life, full of duties and chores, surrounded by this quiet neighbourhood.

As the third born within his family, he was the youngest of three sons. All of them were taught to work as smith, by their father, and all of them would be forced to marry some young woman, daughters of neighbours, for the benefit and advantage of the family. The only interesting thing for most inhabitants within his village was, when Noble people and Knights passed through, being celebrated and admired, but Galén was rather interested in Adventurers, their stories and experience.

People who saw the world outside of Tethyr, who faced dangers, found artifacts, treasures and lived a free life. So he argued with his family about his plans, to his demise, they were not happy with his decision, and disappointed. Eventhough he felt bad and sorry for this...it wouldn't matter. Galén would finally escape a bored life full of tasks, duties and chores. He would see the world, he would find adventure.
