Xornil is on the taller side for a Drow, standing at roughly 5'7.  His build is more slim then muscular much like the rest of his kin, though his limbs do seem to be a little more on the lanky side, his thin hands ending in long fingers often seen resting near his belted daggers. His eyes are a light shade of pink, sometimes appearing darker in the confines of the Underdark or other such places.  His long hair is colored a very light yellow, often being mistaken for a shade of white.

When he's expecting combat Xornil dresses in a very light set of leather, sometimes even favoring a long jacket, relying mostly on his natural agility to not get hit at all.  Otherwise he prefers to dress in light, relatively simple clothing.  Sometimes on the surface he'll venture out with a cloak and cowl, though he makes no move to actually hide his race and only seems to do this to protect his eyes from the sun.

Socially Xornil seems to be rather guarded off, at least initially.  He might give the first impression of being uninterested, but he actually seems to absorb a good deal of what people say, not only listening to their words but carefully studying their body language as well.

When he is on the surface he usually won't speak much of his life in the Underdark, or whatever ties he may still have with the rest of his kin, though he doesn't seem to hide the fact that he mingles and can actually be quite comfortable around surfacers, even if it does take a few encounters before he can really let his guard down.
