Many of the rogues in Sinfar are suave, dark, mysterious, lithe, intriguing and "cool."

This is not the case for Giles Bendry.

Giles is getting on in his years, clearly in his fifties, possibly even sixty, and it shows. He never went hungry, that is a fact that is readily apparent. It's rather clear by the sight of the man's gut that he was no stranger to food or drink.

His hands are large, rough and calloused, showing signs of work and swordplay throughout his years, but, curiously, he takes care to keep his fingernails cleaned and neatly trimmed. To a trained eye, this shows someone that, perhaps, has skill in trade, bartering and mercantilism.

As out of shape as his gut was, his arms and legs are still built like tree trunks. Surely there was still quite a bit of strength there despite his advancing age.

His eyes are sunken with bags beneath them, suggesting late nights and perhaps a fondness for drink and tobacco, although, there is still that spark of cunning suggesting that he ought to not be underestimated, even if at first glance he seems nothing more than a brute.

Born into poverty and having never left the dangerous familiarity of the slums and docks, Giles is the epitome of a seasoned slumlord, having his hand in any number of criminal dealings at any given time.

A true rogue through and through, he's always figured he'll meet his end at the end of a rope, the wrong end of a blade or the bottom of a bottle.

...and yes, he most certainly has an eye for the feminine. He is a man, after all. In fact, he's about twelve inches or so of thick manhood, maybe a bit more. Certainly enough for some to get over his less than appealing looks.
