Standing at the completely unintimidating height at 4'7", and bearing little in the way of muscles, Amarae didn't cut that much of an intimidating figure, as far as drow were concerned. Her expression was almost always neutral, the look in those crimson eyes being of weary paranoia more than outright malice or disgust, when her eyes weren't covered by shades in the sunlight anyway.

Amarae carried no house sigils, nor any other identifying marks upon her, though one familiar with the drowess would have a difficult time mistaking another for her. Her once-beautiful face was marred by heavy scarring, the mutilation even carrying down across her whole body. These seemed less like battle scars, and more like ritualistic torture, some of them even in very precise shapes that have since been overwritten by other cuts and whip-cracks.

A closer examination of her hands also showed that she was missing the little finger on her right hand, though this did not seem to inhibit her too much. There was also a small hole in her otherwise unremarkable tongue, as if a fairly large piercing once sat there but has since been removed.

Sometimes, Amarae seemed to have a bit of a penchant for nudity, seemingly bearing no shame for showing her scarred form off in public. Her behaviour and neutral demeanour also suggested she was likely no Lolthite, but no Eilistraeen either, but just a relatively recent arrival to the surface.
