Rolyn is a half-elven woman of average height. She has green eyes, a lightly-tanned complexion and blonde hair.


Personality and background info

Rolyn grew up in an orphanage. When she was thirteen she joined the town watch, and spent her time chasing down petty criminals and thwarting burglaries. Some say that she knew the streets so well that she could immediately tell when something was amiss.

With her savings, she began taking some time off from her duties to buy supplies and delve into the mysteries of the arcane. A self-taught wizard, she knew only a few basic spells when she left home and travelled in search of her parents.

She made some friends on her travels, and even had a romantic interest or two, but she didn't quite find the answers she was looking for. But, perhaps she just needed to learn something about herself.

The first thing that someone might notice about Rolyn is that she has selective hearing. She is so used to tuning out chatter that sometimes a gentle poke or two is needed to get her attention.

However, when she is engaged and listening, she is a charming and thoughtful companion who likes people around her to laugh and be happy.

Although she appears to be a young woman, the way she speaks and acts suggests that she is quite a bit older, or that she has a lot of experience to draw on. For example, she tends not to jump to conclusions, she usually thinks things through before taking action, and she takes surprise in her stride.
