Female Yokai (Okuri inu)

Eiko has been through many, many stories. She's teetered on the brink of insanity and back again .. yet still, she survives.

Some days I am more wolf than woman and I am still learning not to apologize for my wild.

Eiko is more of a fighting submissive, she will try to kick your ass but she won't really dom.

Many might categorize her as a sort of watchdog. She tends to be a very social creature and would also tend to be very loyal to her friends. Beware though, and don't feel too snug .. if she feels you are a threat to someone she really cares about she won't hesitate to attack. Also, Eiko can tend to be pretty insane at times and is likely to flip her entire personality occasionally. In a nutshell .. beware. She's a hot mess.

The Okuri-inu (literally, 'escorting dog') is a kind of yokai. There are stories of the okuri-inu from the Tohoku region to Kyushu, but depending on the area it can be a wolf not a dog, and there are numerous differences in its behaviour. It is sometimes also called simply the 'yama-inu' (wild dog, wolf) or the 'kami' (wolf).
