A Barghast, Soir is a curious entity, seemingly struck halfway between a demon and a ghost. What appears to be the only constant in their form is the fact that their fur is coloured a cool, dusky blue, their eyes are a piercing, electric blue, and their frame seems to billow a soft, cold smoke from the ends of their mane and the tip of their tail, which only serves to add to their already spectral appearance. While not a full time shapeshifter, Soir is capable of swapping between a male, a female and a feral form, depending on what they feel like on any given day. Culturally, a Barghast?s role is one of duality. They seek to protect good souls, while hunting and persecuting evil souls. They can draw energy from both through different means-- simply being around good souls leaves them feeling refreshed, renewed as though they?ve enjoyed a good night?s rest, whereas consuming an evil soul leaves them feeling full, satiated, as though they?ve enjoyed a large meal. OOCly, this simply means that she?s going to be very distrusting of evil characters, and will typically gravitate toward good characters. Nobody wants their character killed, so don?t fret about being under fire by Soir! ================================== Physical Description Physically, Soir is a mixed bag. Across both forms, they have a relatively similar physique - far from a brick shithouse, yet not a noodle, they have a more generalist musculature that affords them both a keen agility and a precise strength where necessary. From the ends of their mane and from the tip of their tail billows a thin plume of smoke, quickly dissipating into the air about them; if one were to touch this smoke, they?d feel that it was cold to the touch, reacting in about the same way as any other misty compound. Soir?s clothing is fairly simple. They were large, baggy pants with leather straps around the ankles to keep them from tripping over their own clothing, with a long, electric blue hip sash draped over their front and their hip. It?s fashionable-- it matches their eyes, and they love it. ================================== Personality Soir?s personality can be described in a single word: uncanny. They seem very confident in themselves and their abilities, and they address their day to day with an almost predatory appeal about them. They seem to regard the world around them with a perpetual grin and a certain, alien intelligence hidden away behind those electric iris? of theirs. Their personality will shift noticeably depending on which alignments they find themselves surrounded by, showing little regard for chaos versus law, instead directing all their attention to the classic balance between good and evil. ================================== NSFW Info In spite of their curious biology, Soir is at least superficially functional in either form. While donning their female appearance, they have all the expected parts any born female would have, with a pleasant, hourglass figure. In their male form, a darkly coloured sheath hangs between his legs, his manhood coloured a similarly vibrant colour to his eyes. Their tongue seems to extend for at least a foot or two out of their mouth, its colour gradienting between an electric blue at its tip and a similarly dark colour to its fur closer to its midsection. Soir appears to be straight-adjacent; while their true gender identity is a big ol? question mark, they?ll only go for partners that present as the opposite gender to them. Player is tell-friendly.
