Often mistaken for one of the dwarven races, Baran is actually a human, albeit born with dwarfism.

Baran's eyes are one of his most notable features. The way those green orbs play and focus give the impression of a very intelligent, calculating man, most often than not focused on a book but not frequently dismissing a hot lady that might be walking or standing nearby.

The other feature that stands off about Baran is his speech. Especially articulate, very accurate and often very polite is something that many would feel inclined to react positively to the height impaired wizard. (Of course it's up to the players to be the judge of their PC's reactions to such.)

A few rumours might have started to circulate about the studious wizard often visiting low and high-end dens of inequity though it is unclear whether it's due to him having to resort to such by need or it's simply by choice.
