By his 16th birthday he had seen his country devastated by war, His Family wealth allowed him to escape most of the devastation of his homeland while being educated in several centers of learning, Initially learning military studies then taking his education into sciences and philosophy, returning to his homeland to bring his knowledge by the time of his 40th in-time to see his country drawn into a new war, Securing funding for his research in promise that it would grant his homeland the needed strength it defeat its enemies and ensure it glory to come, he dedicated the next half of a decade to it, but as his country founded and collapsed again he used the device to flee, ensuring it wouldn't be used to destroy his homeland if captured.

==Stranded on Shores Unknown==
His theories had been wild and discredited by most other scientists, and the toll to power the device had been large, but the machine had worked, temporally opened a rift between his world and another, riding the machine through he found himself crashing into the seas, surviving himself but losing his machine to the bottom of this unknown ocean. He was rescued and taken to a fishermen's house where they helped him recover his strength, His language was different but parts translated between the language of the people of this land and his own.
