Whether he had his way with her, or she just fancied his charms no one will ever know for sure, but either way the woman ended up with Zurine and the Pirate sailed off into the sun, none the wiser. Twelve years later he returned to that same port to find a young girl who looked a lot like the Illuskan woman he remembered. When he later realized she was his own daughter he decided to take her under his wing, and the young Zurine, who had gone by a different name then, and had grown up getting into trouble in the quiet town, always looking for excitement, wanted nothing more than to go on an adventure in the high seas. She spent the next six years learning the ways of a pirate and a thief. Though she was a woman, her rather small size allowed her to easily disguise herself as a boy, and she quickly became more of a son to her father than a daughter in most ways. Eventually though, the law caught up with her and her father and they were separated. She found her way to the port of Sinfar, Umberlee knows where her father ended up.
