[Physical Traits]
Arkhan is a "True Golemoid". This basically means that a very significant part of his body has been replaced with golem parts, made using a metal called Manite. Manite is virtually the only type of Metal in the world of Aden (where Arkhan is from) that can benefit from or carry enchantments, and is both rare and valuable.

Golemoids tend to live shorter lives than unaugmented people, due to a sickness associated with augmentation called "The Wasting", the symptoms of which include premature aging, sickliness, weakness and so on. However, True Golemoids at some point become immunized to these effects beyond a certain point, often living to ages as old as eighty if the hazards of a violent world don't claim them first. It is unknown why some people die on the operating table and others survive to become True Golemoids... though the Wasting is considered to be related to a nightmarish creature called a Wasted, which appears much like a True Golemoid, save for the almost husk-like appearance of the creature's biological parts.
