Tara Kross

Human, Age 23, 5'5" tall, slim build, weighs likely ~120lbs..  Eyes: Green, Hair: Auburn.

Tara is a quiet woman and one who feels very uncomfortable in the center of attention.  She seems nervous, often looking over her shoulder.  It isn't unusual to see her in a hooded cloak, waiting for rainy days to venture into the city to find work.  The nitch she's found in Sinfar is the brewing of potions and creation of scrolls.

She is a refugee from a conquered kingdom where magic became outlawed.  The young mage was an apprentice at the time of the invasion, her master was killed fighting for the city and Tara barely escaped with her life, and her master's spell books.

The next dozen years of her life were desperate times.  She hid, stole food or worked as kitchen girl, or when she could a serving maid, housekeeper or laundry girl.  Almost anything to get shelter and food..  Always having to hide her magic, always trying to stay a step ahead of the Seakers, fleeing when they appeared searching for her and those like her.  One of these flights brought her to the docks and she managed to stow away aboard a ship bound for unknown waters.  This is the vessel which eventually brought her to these Islands.
