Watching his combat prowess, normally wielding two blades, one would gather his skill was leagues ahead of his time.
He later began a journey in the dark arts, meeting The High Priest Imhotep, keeper of the Black Book of Hamunaptra. The prince fully converted to the dark arts study's under Imhotep, even performing many complex Eldritch rituals in his presence. He was heir to become Pharaoh of all Egypt but felt slighted when his father saught through his magicians to become immortal. He took that as his father wanted to stay Pharaoh so he, being friends with Imhotep, created a golden mask. The mask was meant to be seen as a gift to his father, the Pharaoh, but placed within was a deep dark curse that would snuff out his mortal life force and twist his form with dark magic. Although different in their reasons and motives, The prince and The High Priest Imhotep worked together to overthrow the Pharaoh. The Medjai in charge of protecting the Pharaoh infiltrated a meeting between the two esteemed figures, and learned if their intent. On the way to deliver the mask to his father, The Prince was waylaid by members of The Pharaoh's Palace Guardians and a group of Medjai. Seeing no alternative, The Prince faught many off, killing Medjai and Guardian alike before being overwhelmed and captured. News of this incident reached the Pharaoh and he was most displeased, striking his son's name from all archived instances and history, defacing of all statues and monuments built in his name, and had him mummified alive, wearing the mask he meant for his father. Those who followed and were loyal to him were set ablaze, and their ashes and bones thrown into The Prince's sarcophagus to show disgrace. He is cursed thrice-fold, one being by the magic of the mask, that he could never be whole again, as the strands of his hair transformed to living, deadly black desert vipers. It is because of these and the eternal sin against his father that he would suffer a final curse, to not find rest in the tomb of Osiris, eternal resting place of their people. Should the mask be removed, he would gain increased strength and fortitude as the curse is writhing in ancient inscribed symbols adorning the gold. Thus, during attacks on the modern world, being cursed himself for staying the Pharaoh for the lustful lust and love of his wife, Imhotep returned to Thebes and resurrected The Prince, who with warded preservation wraps, was still decomposing yet brilliantly preserved and would never be able to revitalize. The prince rose from the dead an immediately begun to exact his own form of revenge against his father. Unearthing the Pharaoh's hidden tomb, filled with many statues and a few intentionally defaced by the mason. The revived prince removed The All Seeing Eye of Osiris, and two ceremonial daggers buried with the Pharaoh's sarcophagus. He wears a darkened robe in similar fashion as those who were devote followers of Imhotep, with the charred remains of his devote and friends of old, that reanimate during combat.
