This handsome Ice Elf is unusually well-muscled for a mage, and his body showed the ravages of war as a result of being captured by the Drow, and his escape of the Hellspike Prison; disconnected from the life-force of the Elven people.

Magnus' forehead has a single small and deep scar and his face invariably bares a cold, disdainful expression, clearly he has seen the effects of war. His once pointed ears appeared to have been surgically removed and replaced with a form-fitting skullcap that covers the rear half of his head and around his hairline above his forehead. The cap itself doesn't seem to restrict his hair growth in any form, though strands of his long black hair would seem to glow pearlescent white upon casting.

The exact purpose of this skullcap was unknown, though it (possibly in conjunction with Magnus' armor) presumably served as some sort of magical-enhancement function.  
It was also possible that Magnus' bodily modifications and implants allow him to augment or better focus his considerable and immense magic power and control. Judging by his physical appearance, one would gather that he is anything but ordinary. On his raiment, a notable insignia and many of his kin and clansman stand at attention in his presence, they too, wearing a similar insignia.

His stance would suggest he is highly disciplined, much like the rest of his kin.
Clothed in a dark, robe like battle raiment, which is uniquely faceted with hardened obsidian and deep crystal plates, you notice they reflect some of the light from the sun or moon.  

On his hands, a unique and extravagantly designed pair of gauntlets, which glow in-sync with his combat robe like attire. His forearms are stained with a black, charred look that jaggedly reaches up to his elbow both arms. The palms of his gauntlets bare an exquisite and ornate metallic representation of a lion, the mighty king of the jungle.

You gather that he is a wizard or sorcerer of sorts; an extravagant jewel glistens and shimmers around his neck.
The jewel appears to be an exquisitely cut Star Amethyst, gemmed and encased inside an obsidian-like stone that has been formed, shaped, and cut to facet into a hexagon that bares two elaborately designed cobra's securing it on either side.

The origin of these highest quality gems is in it's name, falling from the sky and a skilled adventurer could find one beneath the earth where it lands. The immediate surrounding vicinity is illuminated some, due to its intense glow.

Most commonly seen with a black tome in his hand, Magnus doesn't appear to be hostile as he notices your gaze, but you gather from his disciplined strides or stance, that he is not to be trifled with and looks ready for combat.

He speaks with a stern and learned tone, intelligent, and well use of vocabulary in many languages. The magical implants adorning his body pulsate with a purplish glow even during simple castings, matching the runes etched on their partially visible surfaces.
