Guillemette Nostradame

Description
"What better laboratory than the blood-soaked battlefield?"

Shrouded in a thick robe, leathers, and bandages, it is difficult to form a picture of who this woman is.  A cinched belt and curves are the only hint of her femininity before she speaks.  Her face is shrouded in the infamous hooked beak of the plague-doctors mask, something she seldom removes amongst the populace.  What she is hiding or hiding from is only revealed to those she trusts.

The thick leather belt on her waist is festooned with pouches, vials, bottles, and a traveling journal.  She can often be seen with the small journal out either reading or writing in new notes.

Getting her to remove her mask isnt impossible, and relaxing at a bar may require it.  The mask aside she has swarthy skin absent of make-up.  Her eyes are large and strikingly blue-green.  Her hair is black and about shoulder-length.  Her lips full a natural pout, and perhaps a slightly unnerving quirk. Faded scars and scrapes can be seen giving character to her face, though none are particularly disfiguring.  Nicks and dings collected to mark her battles in the moor.

"Another soul, battered and broken.  Cast aside like a spent torch."

Whatever brings her to Sinfar, it clearly has left its mark upon Guillemette.  The muffled sound of her voice through her protective mask sounds strained, as if she is battling personal demons.  She speaks in a soft contralto that would send shivers up the spine if whispered in a lovers ear. There is much bitterness in her voice when speaking of the past.  She often positions herself in places it is difficult to sneak up upon her, and is easily startled.

"And now the true test.  Hold fast, or expire."

Having faced horrors that wrack the mind and scar the body, Guillemette could no longer face the looming threat of those dark dungeons, that manor full of eldritch terror above the moor.  Knowing more than most should know of the occult horrors of the world, she left with her pay to find some place she could find respite and continue those studies the University had banned her for.  Her darker interests only reinforced by her experiences and the madness she faced in those blackened arcades of antiquity.

"The slow death.  Unforseen.  Unforgiving."

OOC:

Obviously this is a Darkest Dungeon inspired character.  Guillemette is not a cheap date, she is not an easy fuck.  I prefer long term RP and story and getting to see more of her than her face is most likely going to take effort.  What she has hidden beneath her robes is a mystery to all, though as a somewhat mad alchemist, expect her to have plenty of tricks up her sleeve.
