To say Sera was a bit odd would be a bit of an understatement.  Physically, she appears as your standard Sinfarian resident, a slim toned figure, large breasts, and a pretty face.  What is odd about her is the ability that was awoken in her several years ago, which allows her to open portals to other words and take what's inside.

Sera, unfortunately, grew up in a rather broken home.  Her mother could often be found drinking heavily and bringing home men to her bed in exchange for coin while Sera was usually confined to her room.  She didnt mind this too much, not being all that close with her mother, she usually just kept busy with books, doing her best to ignore the sounds through the wall.  Sera never met her father, and her mother hasn't been very forthcoming with who he was, so the girl just figures her father was probably just another random visitor who shared her mother's bed.

One evening, Sera decided to try to maybe improve things between herself and her mother by showing concern for her mother's constant drinking.  Her mother didnt handle the criticism very well and struck her daughter in anger, causing the girl to fall and hit her head on the edge of a table.  Her mother stared at her unconcious daughter for a few moments before going to bed, seemingly not caring if she lived or died, though it seems fate had somthing interesting in store for her.

Upon waking up, Sera was surprised to find that not only was she unharmed from her fall, but she actually felt perfectly fine, not even a bump from where her head hit the table, nor a bruise from the slap on her cheek.  As she sat there contemplating what happened, she suddenly realized that she was hungry, specifically for fresh apple pie.  As this thought creeped into her head, she suddenly saw a swirl of energy form in front of her, part of her was nervous, though she stayed put, and the swirl slowly opened a portal in front of her.  She was shocked to see through that portal, appeared to be a freshly baked aple pie!  After a moment of hesitation, she reached out, making sure the pie wasnt too hot before grabbing it and pulling it into her world.  She stared at the pie dumbfounded for a few moments, but then threw caution to the wind and dug in, eating nearly the whole thing.  While eating, she began to think and piece things together a bit, thinking to herself how she would enjoy a brownie as well.  Sure enough, a new portal opened up with a plate of brownies, which she helped herself to as well.

She didnt sleep one wink that night, testing this strange ability she had on anything she could think of, conjuring portals to books, clothing, jewelry, even a bit of money.  She only stopped when she heard her mother stomping around, closing a portal before her mother barged in.  Her mother saw all of the goods around her daughter, mostly focused on the money and jewelry, and decided to "punish" her by taking it all away.  Sera knew perfectly well that her mother was going to keep it for herself and leave nothing for her.  In that moment, she felt quite depressed and wanted to find a new home, someplace she could live comfortably without being ruled over by her mother.  She didnt even piece together what would happen right away, but the swirl of magic appeared before her once more, this portal was larger though, large enough for her to pass through.  She didnt even hesitate as she stepped through into this new land, leaving her old life behind, ending up on the docks in Sinfar, ready to look for a new life.
