Blair was born into the noble house Vermillion who possessed amazing fire affinity potential. The entire family possessed amazing magical potential. When it was apparent Blair's magical prowess was set to exceed her parents and siblings, they made a deal with a  demoness offering Blair's power to strengthen their own, and it did for a time.
What they did not know was the infernal strength Blair would receive as part of the family's trade. She looks like a normal woman, but has strength equal to a dragon's. The other thing the demoness passed onto Blair was the curse that made the demoness want to serve or form pacts.
When Blair reached womanhood she was ridiculed by the family who sold her magical prowess out for their own gains, being a magicless failure not worth anything. It took Blair a lot of effort to hide her strength that sometimes made her break things, getting them passed off as being a sloppy girl. In her soul a undescribed longing to serve always tugged at her strings of her heart.
A year later the demoness returned and slew the entire family, save for Blair. She caressed Blair's face after taking back the power she enchanted her family with. "I am free thanks to you one with hair as beautiful as rivers of blood. As long as you live I will never have to worry about servitude again." The demoness puffed in a cloud of ashen smoke, leaving Blair with her strength. Blair having nothing left but her freedom from the noble life, went to the lands of Sinfar, seeking out adventure and something to fill that empty hole in her heart.

On her collar is inscribed "My lovely cinnaslut." Below these words is a line showing her to be property of Ryuk Wend.
