(Appearance)

As the self-proclaimed incarnation of the Sun it's no surprise that Aurum's appearance seems to imitate his claim. A head of blond locks cascades enough to just touch the base of his neck. The de'Grants family is known for their porcelain complexion; a notion that has not escaped the young man's body. To some he can be even seen as pale with even the the slightest hint of sun being enough to burn him despite his ironic claims. His hair is usually unruly and often Aurum can be seen experimenting with various waxes, oils, and other products in his latest attempt to make something 'unique. What is noticeable is the striking pair of ice blue spheres that reflect a genuine warmth rather than a piercing cold stare. His build isn't exactly the quintessential image of masculinity, rather he holds a lean physique that is akin to a runner's.

(Personality)

It wouldn't be uncommon for others to mistake Aurum as a ray of sunshine with his eccentric personality. Easy to smile and easy to please, he isn't above pranking or playing harmless jokes on others. Nevertheless there have been tale tell signs of his more noble upbringing: the ability to stand straight, the refinement of his eating habits, and the uncanny ability to switch registers from what others would call 'slum' speak to that of the most eloquent diplomat. He is cordial to others and often smiles much to the occasional chagrin of others.

Aurum is a skittish person by nature and prefers to avoid conflicts by going for more peaceful solutions. He is surprisingly humble with an unusual habit of being self-deprecating at times. Combined with his low self-esteem he is loathed to the idea of asking others for help out of a fear of burdening them.

At his best he can be a loyal companion, but at his worst he can dehumanize himself.
