Meg Aultranae was a mistake from the moment she was born.  Her father was the eldest son of Baron Aultranae and a warrior fighting in the orc wars.  He was captured and to make his escape he seduced an orc woman.

Ten years later a nearly dead, oddly orcish looking, elfin girl appeared on the barons doorstep, her body bruised and broken in many places from repeated beatings.  Rejected by her orc clan, her mother sent her to live with the elves.  Having no grandchildren the Baron took her in and raised her.  Her father tolerated her, but refused to fully accept her.  She was trained as a knight until finally one day she realized she would never be accepted by the elves.  Rejected by both races, she decided to end her own life.  As she plunged into the river from whence she knew she could never break free, a hand found her and slowly pulled her back to the surface.  

When she came to on the shore, she found a woman looking down on her, her gear laying next to a camp fire.  Shiny platemail, and a glorious sword.  Over the next few days the woman offered her friendship and guidance.  She told her of Sinfar, and the perils she might face.  Of the many that could use the strength and protection of one so strong and fierce.  But they needed someone willing to fight for them no matter the cost.  

Meg looked into the womans eyes and swore that day she would never give up ever again and no one would ever tear her down again.  

"One day I will die!  But it will be with steel in hand and foe before me!"


She left the woman and traveled to Sinfar.  Her destiny awaits.  

No woman or child will suffer before her.  Her wrath to protect the innocent is fierce and unstoppable.
