A child of Cupid and Psyche, our young heroine was thrust into the family business at a very young age... Originally, she had hoped to squire for Athena or Artemis and had practised her kill shot til she could down a target at 500 meters with her eyes closed.  Her dreams were dashed when one year, her father never came home from his annual bowmanship and neither did mother when she went out searching for him..  It took several flights of annoying little cherubs to search the worlds, all the while True Love and 1st Loves dwindled and many worlds succumbed to wars.

Echo, was blowing away various random creatures on  several worlds when the news arrived.. Her parents had been located, but were lost to the pantheon. It seems Cupid had wandered too close to a Sinfarian pleasure house and in a drunken wager had shot a True Love arrow into his foot and was now consumed by the eternal dream of some demon that toyed with him day in and day out.  His mother, it seems had asked for assistance from some locals, who thought it hilarious to send her to see Kaala. She's since forgotten her mate Cupid.

Which brings us back to Echo being told that she must now take on the mantle of her father, until such a time as a male heir can continue Cupid's work.
