What happens to a Berry when they emerge with no one to guide them? They wander, become fearful of the world around them, run, and become lost. Tonberry was one such berry. Emerging from his pod the young berry stumbled around his ancestreal home only to be startled by something he has long since forgotten about. Now when asked he only remembers running and the branches slapping him as he did so. Their impacts goading him deeper and deeper into the Dark Forest. There in the silence of the trees and the whispers of wind that blew through the branches the young male stayed, until now.
