A member of the yeoman class, Minania grew into a strong, if plain young woman. Uncontented with the life of an artisan or a craftsperson, she was her family's volunteer for the local lord's militia, and learned the ways of battle, favoring the bow; however, simply guarding the quiet hamlet she grew up in was not enough either, and she set out from home to look for adventure and fortune.
