The first thing one would notice about this elf would surely be her Drow nature. Bearing all the hallmarks of that race - the snowy locks, violet eyes and dusky tone, Meliste is also very young and possesses a natural beauty. Smooth straight hair frames a pretty oval face with plump, bee-stung lips. Her eyes are large and her figure pleasing. Slender arms are countered by well-toned, thick and shapely legs. The Drowess's bust is high and youthful, well proportioned to her tiny waist. To complement this, just below are a set of pleasingly wide and rounded hips which offer a rolling, swaying gait.

The Drowess's good looks are not harmed by a conservative wardrobe that well suits a quiet and soft-spoken temperament. In conversation one would discover a personality which matches the quiet attire: bookish, intellectual, rather shy and polite for a dark elf. Her accent reveals a life above the Underdark of no more than a few years, as do her habits. While not overtly hostile, Meliste shares many of the prejudices common to other drow.

If pressed, Meliste may admit to being ignored and overlooked by her family. Being of a very minor house, and far from the eldest left her an unlikely candidate for inheritance. She therefore set out to make her own way.

It would be unfair to disomiss Meliste just because she is quiet and lacks the outwardly assertive manner of some Drow women. Meliste has a sharp mind and has turned to magic as a means of acquiring power. Her studious, quiet manner makes her a natural at the art. Being youthful, ambitious, and oft overlooked, she has learned to be patient and methodical.

10/11/20: Meliste's efforts in Che'El Oloth are beginning to bear fruit. The Ilharess of the House Gharr has expressed a willingness to take Meliste on as mage's apprentice, focusing in the dark arts of necromancy and illusory mind-magics. Like a young debutante, she has bought a fine dress and nervously awaits her moment to be presented to the Valsharess.
