Lights and Preferences ================================== Appearance: Humanoid Form: Standing head and shoulders over most humanoids, Felatrux, in this state, is an imposing beast of a man. From his head to his toes, he's covered in hardy, armored shield-shaped scales layered over one another. A holdover from his true form, his shoulders, forearms, elbows, upper back, and tail are all covered in thick spines and jagged ridges, all lethally sharp, all hard as diamond. His head is crested by a pair of large, wicked horns. About the brows, cheekbones, and his jaw, more spines protrude from between the scales to give him a cruel, cold visage that never seems to lighten up even when he is happy. His tail ends in a pair of foot and a half long bony protrusions, curved and sharp on both edges, shaped very much like jagged scythes. Between all the worrying bits of him, however, Felatrux is rather handsome. Sharp, keen eyes shine a bright, vivid orange and peer about to take in the world with an ever-present sense of intrigue. His fangy maw is more often than not smiling. Broad, masculine shoulders feed down into burly arms and large hands. His torso is often somewhat exposed, leaving the naked eye to behold a strong, masculine frame boasting tight muscle that the scales coating them don't quite fully conceal. A set of thicker band-like plate scales run the length of his front from throat to tail tip and form a sort of crest at his chest. Beneath it all, strong legs support the brute in his travels and end in large claws that rip at the earth with each step they take. Draconic Form: In this, his true state, Felatrux is a massive and imposing creature the likes of which the common man would fear. At least, the common man outside of Sinfar. Here, he's just another dragon, but one quite unlike the others. Fang dragons are a non-chromatic, non-metallic subspecies of dragon that favors physical strength and brutality over magical prowess and elementalism. His scales are exactly as those of his humanoid form: large, shield-shaped, and heavily armored. Nearly all of his body is covered in spikes and spurs and all manner of sharp things that make his very movement lethal to any unfortunate enough to be too near to him, or that happen to be run into. His claws are massive and hard as adamantium, easily cutting into the ground beneath them as they carry the titanic beast. His joints all end in sharp spurs of bone. The paired bone blades on the end of his wickedly cruel tail are several feet long each, just as hard, and sharp as razors. Lacking any sort of breath attack that other dragons would employ, his kind instead have even sharper fangs whose bite drains the very life from their victims, rapidly eating away at one's constitution until death comes, assuming they survive the bite itself. The only part of him that's not immediately threatening is his underbelly, where those same crest scales run the length of his body and are undisturbed by the sharp spikes that cover all the rest of him. ================================== Candor: ================================== Abilities: Draconic Senses: Felatrux can see perfectly in any light level, can see through most magical disguises, and has a small radius of blind sense which allows him to detect persons hidden in his immediate area, magically or otherwise. Additionally, his sense of smell is heightened. Draconic Resistance: Given the nature of Sinfar, his protections against Magic are fairly moot, but against more martial sorts, he boasts an almost impenetrable hide that only the strongest warriors will be able to put a dent in. Shape Changing: Felatrux possesses the innate ability to change his appearance. He very rarely actually uses this, but in cases where he is not either in his half-dragon or full-dragon forms, what you see is what you get.
