The woman you see before you is striking and beautiful - even if she might not be able to compare to the demonic and supernaturally gifted charms of other women. She appears to be both matured, and yet possessing of an enchanting, youthful grace.. more than likely the result of using magic to maintain her looks, though evidently she did so quite well, to her credit.

Her figure was slender and curved outward into sensuous hips, while her dress sense did a fine job of flaunting her moderate, but nonetheless still-perky bosom. Her hair, though pale white, was usually styled in an exotic and flamboyant fashion, same as her exaggerated makeup, fashion sense and mannerisms. It was as though the woman's very countenance called out 'behold!' to people, demanding both their attention and their respect as some kind of grandiose ruler or the likes.

::PERSONALITY::
Verana is.. not exactly an idiot. The woman is cunning, intelligent and wholly ambitious. The problem, ultimately, lies in her personality. She has an excess in delusions of grandeur, by and large due to her history as having once ruled over an entire realm, and therefore is incapable of acknowledging when she is at a loss or at fault in any matters.

If it came down to being cornered in an argument, she would much rather invent a ludicrous leap of logic to justify why she was never wrong in the first place, and then ignore any attempts to pursue the topic further.

In a sense, she is more than a little spoiled by her own success, often acting a bit immaturely and petulantly as a result of desiring attention and praise for her self-perceived glory and supreme status as overlord. This egotistical attitude of hers, of course, results in her woefully underestimating even the lowliest goblin due to her preconceived notions of superiority, and an inability to imagine why anyone might ever choose not to fall in line with her petty whims.

::BACKGROUND::
Verana Azal Baphomis.. The Overlord. Demon Queen. Sorceress Most Sinister. The Dark One, The Unrepentent One, She Who Laughs When You Fail. All these titles and more belong to the female overlord who conquered her own domain with an army of monsters and fiendish creations, subjugating the common folk and nobility, and crushing the heroic forces of good underfoot. After decades of rulership, her boredom finally got the better of her, and the overlord set her sights on new realms to conquer, opening a portal and setting forth to realize her future ambitions.

There was only one problem.. Verana Azal Baphomis was a big fish in a small pond. As it turned out, while she was the most powerful being in her own domain, she was actually quite plain and average when compared to the greater, broader Multiverse! Unfortunately, a mishap that had absolutely nothing to do with her, also resulted in the portal that had taken her from said small pond.. no longer opened, leaving her stranded, travelling the planes in search of a way back to her domain, and her empire.

:OVERALL INTERESTS:
When it comes to ERP scenarios involving Verana, I enjoy her being tricked, duped, and conned by a minion or the like, by and large because in her own arrogance she doesn't think anyone might betray her. I particularly enjoy scenarios where magic gets employed against her, whether it's messing with her own magic so it backfires or has a different result, or tampering with enchanted items and the likes. Primarily comedic relief/light-hearted antics of that sort, where Verana's ego gets her into trouble with lowlifes and scumbags, often without her own awareness of the trouble that she's in, rather than dark, dramatic or dire scenarios.
