The ebon skin, red eyes, white hair and elven features typical of his kind would make his drow heritage obvious to any who had met or heard tell of the (mostly) underground-dwelling race while the slim and almost emaciated frame of this barely legal male can sometimes be found sheathed in a robe bearing his house's colors. He is often found with his nose buried in a tome and waving an athame around or gazing into a scrying orb.

If the bookworm physique or things he carries alone doesn't give it away, the smooth, uncalloused and oft ink-stained hands and the many belts strapped around his waist and chest bearing pouches, scroll, and wand cases filled to brimming with various spell components would indicate he is a mage of some sort.
