Hailing from the Kingdom of Gladstone, Verena was part of the clergy of Yavanna during the Undead Wars, her order keen on stopping the advnce of the Undead King hordes.
During a pitched battle, several of her companions and undeads alike were transported into an unknown land, the thing not stopping the violent fighting.
When the day was won, all that was left on the field were several mangled corpses and the barely alive warpriestess.
From that point onward, Verena had to deal with the unknown place she ended up into.
