Born into the clan Moulder, one of the Four Great Skaven Clans which specializes in the mastery of breeding, mutating, and surgically creating some of the most horrific and fearsome war-beasts to have ever existed, Troch grew up in the clan's breeding pits feeding the mutant beasts.

After years in the pits, he began to learn the art of manipulating the meat of the master shapers manipulating and sometimes ingesting the dangerous warpstone, changing his body and mind in grotesque ways.
