Sindas is another refugee from the Underdark, living under such conditions from female drow is not ideal for most male drow. They are often oppressed and made slaves for the dominant females. Life is worse than hell.

Sindas paid off a smuggler and off he went, to the surface. Surface life was like a literal breath of fresh air, he was a nobody. He had no commitments, he had no expectations. He could do what he wanted.

He decided to try and take fate into his own hands and become a master, to see what it was like on the other end of that whip.
